Maybee was a history professor at CMU. The Clarke Historical Library has several of his publications and his papers. The Advisory Committee developed plans for major events, publications, re-dedications of campus buildings, presentations, and a historical marker for CMU's 75th Anniversary. The Awards Screening Committee reviewed nominations of people who had contributed significantly in some way to CMU, selected honorees, and organized a presentation ceremony and plaque for each honoree. Robinson, Frank E., 1877-1951.

Frank attended Ferris State Institute, now University, 1898-1899, and graduated from Central State Teachers College (CSTC), now Central Michigan University (CMU), in 1900. In 1901 he married Laura A. Wiley, his Ferris sweetheart. Together they had six sons. Laura and Frank both taught school. Frank joined the CSTC faculty in 1916. In 1948 he retired as head of the Dept. of Commerce after 32 years of service. Robinson Hall and Dining Commons at CMU were named in his honor. Active in local politic...
